1. The Service

Vows.you provides tools that help users create, edit, and generate wedding vows and related content, including optional AI-powered features such as voice-related functionality.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise stated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

Some features may require creating an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

a. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of the text, recordings, and other content you submit to the Service (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you grant Vows.you a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely to operate and provide the Service.

b. Voice Content and Consent

If you choose to use voice-related features, including voice cloning:

  • You confirm that the voice recordings are your own voice or that you have full legal permission to use them
  • You grant Vows.you permission to process those recordings to generate AI voice outputs for you
  • You understand that voice data may be processed by third-party providers (such as ElevenLabs) solely to deliver the feature

You may withdraw consent by discontinuing use of the feature and contacting support, subject to technical limitations.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Impersonate another person
  • Submit content you do not have rights to use
  • Create unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access for violations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, trademarks, and branding on Vows.you (excluding User Content) are owned by Vows.you or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content is provided as-is and may contain inaccuracies or subjective interpretations.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any content generated by the Service.

Vows.you does not guarantee that generated content will meet legal, personal, cultural, or emotional expectations.

8. Payments and Subscriptions (If Applicable)

If paid features are offered:

  • Prices and billing terms will be disclosed before purchase
  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

Sections that by nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or reliability of generated content

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vows.you shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months, or $100 if no payment was made.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vows.you from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
